A pat on the back for 2022!

Time to give ourselves a pat on the back!

The new year is into full swing now – resolutions made (a few perhaps already fading!) and lists and plans for the coming twelve months inspiring us all to get going into 2023.

At Willow & Puddifoot we’ve been doing the same, no doubt, as many of you and spending the first couple of weeks of the new year looking back across 2022. Reflecting on our successes and achievements to give ourselves a bit of a pat on the back and considering what excites and energises us in the year ahead.

Excitingly we developed our first mental wellbeing workshop for Chinese clients in Beijing – specially adapted for Chinese culture and delivered entirely in Mandarin. We had great feedback on this, and it felt a significant achievement proving we can adapt our services to any company, any culture, anywhere in the wor

We also sponsored a conference for the first time: the Sifted Summit in London in October. This proved a hugely worthwhile experience reaching new people and playing a part in an inspiring, innovative event full of ideas, speakers, showcases, networking and learning for the start-up community. We certainly hope to return to the Summit in 2023

Meanwhile, Catherine trained up our first group of Mental Health Ambassadors (MHAs), face-to-face, and what an amazing group they were! With businesses investing more in wellbeing in 2023, we plan to train up more people as MHAs and put a refresher course together to ensure continued support.

The Willow & Puddifoot team itself grew and matured, with four employees joining us during the year, and real investment in the personal growth of our existing team members, such as Wendy’s promotion to Business Operations Manager.

We feel grateful to be part of such an amazing team that genuinely cares about each other and the people we work with.

We’ve also built a strong network of wider team associates across the globe, developed wonderful relationships with inspiring, worthwhile clients, and feel in general we’ve had a positive impact on people’s lives, which is what it’s ultimately all about for us.

Looking ahead to 2023, we’re super excited about delivering more training and growing what we do. We’re conscious of continually learning and improving – we’ve talked about embracing new ideas such as the use of artificial intelligence and other ‘cutting edge’ ideas. We also want to focus on developing ourselves as individuals on our own personal journeys.

Our aim for the year ahead is ultimately to help the next generation of businesses establish a healthy working environment; enabling scaling companies to achieve sustainable growth without experiencing the pain and frustration too often associated with rapid expansion. We will continue to go above and beyond to support our clients, ensuring the name of Willow & Puddifoot is associated with high-quality responsible training putting people and wellbeing first.

We hope you’re as excited about the year ahead as we are and wish you all the best with your personal and professional endeavours across 2023. Happy new year!
