We have been speaking with lots of people recently about how they feel about working from home or returning to the workplace. Everyone’s different and has different preferences. We are seeing 3 things, in particular, that influence how people seem to feel about this.
? Where they get their energy from – being around people, being alone, or somewhere in between.
? Their home working set-up – the space they have e.g. whether they have a home office or work from their bed, and whether they like the people they live with (or not!), or live alone.
? How worried they are about the risks of COVID – their general attitude to risk, and whether they are in a vulnerable group or are living with someone in a vulnerable group.
It’s important to consider these if you are thinking about returning your teams to the workplace.
