Navigating the transition to senior leadership
The move to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is one of the most significant and challenging steps in a leader’s career. It requires a shift in mindset, expanded responsibilities, and greater influence. Even leaders who excelled in previous roles often find this transition difficult. Research shows that nearly 60% of new leaders struggle within their first 18 months in senior roles due to the rapid learning and adaptation required (Corporate Executive Board/Gartner).

With the right support, however, leaders can successfully navigate this transition and make a lasting impact.

The ASCEND programme is specifically designed to help leaders excel in their new SLT roles. Through a structured blend of workshops, one-to-one coaching, psychometric assessments, and 360-degree feedback, Ascend equips new SLT members with the skills, confidence, and insights they need to thrive.

By focusing on key areas such as strategic thinking, influence, communication, and resilience, Ascend empowers leaders to overcome the challenges of the SLT transition and step into their roles with confidence and clarity.

The programme begins in May 2025 with an in-person launch in Oxfordshire.
